The Q-Switch laser emits ultra-short pulses (a few nanoseconds) of extreme photomechanical power. This concentrated energy creates a photo-acoustic effect that pulverizes the targeted pigments into micro-fragments, without generating damaging heat for the surrounding tissues. The principle of selective thermolysis guarantees that only the pigments (melanin or ink) absorb the laser energy. The micro-particles are then progressively eliminated by the lymphatic system, allowing for the complete disappearance of tattoos or pigment spots.
Treatment duration
Each session lasts about 30 minutes depending on the surface to be treated. The program includes 3 to 6 sessions for pigment spots, and up to 10 sessions for tattoos, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart. The treatment provides an elastic snapping sensation, with the possibility of topical anesthesia for more comfort.
